Once a year I take a trip to Frankfurt, in southern Germany. This year, being October 22, was a bit later than usual, but generally I followed my usual pattern. An early morning flight from London Stansted airpport to Frankfurt Hahn, followed by a coach ride from the airport to the city. This time I stayed at the Mercure Franfurt Messe Hotel, and it was quite interesting. The Mercure are my favourite hotels in the Accor group, and I try and stay with them whenever I can. This was a leisure visit, which noted and experienced what visitors can see from a visit to the city.
